It helps to bring your questions with you. Here are the questions patients ask most often, and what each answer depends on.

Is an implant right for me?

That depends on the bone and gums where the tooth is missing, which the examination shows. If there is not enough bone, a bone graft may be discussed first.

What are my options?

A missing tooth can be replaced with an implant, a bridge or a partial denture. Which of them suit you depends on the examination; ask what each would involve for you, and why one is recommended over the others.

What will it cost, and what will my insurance cover?

The estimate depends on the plan made for you after the examination. Before you decide, you receive a written estimate of what your insurance is expected to cover and what you may need to pay. If you would rather pay over time, ask about financing through Cherry, which is subject to approval.

How is the treatment planned?

Ask about the order of the steps and what each visit is for. Nothing begins until you have decided.

How do I care for an implant?

Ask how to clean around it at home and how often it should be checked.
