Whitening lightens the natural shade of your teeth. How much it can change depends on your teeth and on what is causing their color.
Crowns, fillings and veneers do not change color with whitening, so we talk about them before you begin.
Before whitening
We first check that the teeth and gums are healthy. Some discoloration comes from inside the tooth and responds little to whitening; if that is the case, we explain the other options.
