Dental Exams
A dental exam looks at your teeth, gums and bite and at the soft tissues of your mouth, so that problems can be found while they are small.
At a first visit it is also where we hear what brings you in and what you would like from your care.
After the exam
We explain what we found in plain words and, if anything needs treatment, the options and their fees, before you decide.

Questions patients ask
Are X-rays part of the exam?
X-rays are taken when they are needed to see what an exam cannot, such as between the teeth or below the gum line.
How often should I have an exam?
It depends on your teeth and gums. After the exam we recommend an interval that suits you.
Is the examination free?
Yes, the examination is free. If treatment is recommended, we explain the options and their cost before anything is done.
